Each morning, before I start my day job, I sit down at my computer and I skim the headlines of my emails, newsletters, RSS feeds and twitter to see if there is anything new and interesting in the digital world.

I am never disappointed.

Today I thought I would share some interested things that I found around the web:

  • An article by Sean Wyld on Digital Ministry telling us the top 5 reasons why you SHOULD NOT start a twitter or Facebook page. I agree with all of this
  • @comScore tells us that the 10 digital trends of 2010 – I was particularly interested in the fact that webmail usage has decreased 9% – particularly in younger people. The first thing is, I’m not surprised with all the other free and cheap ways to communicate these days, particularly mobile, but I’m surprised that 18 years after webmail (Yahoo and Hotmail) became available, they are still as relevant
  • It wouldn’t be a marketing blog if I didn’t mention the best superbowl ads
  • The need to influence through social media is delved into.

If nothing else, these links serve as a good library for my own reflection. Are they helpful to you?
